Dr. Shaina grew up in Rochester Michigan and graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology . She then moved to Iowa to continue her dream of becoming a chiropractor, where she received her doctorate degree from the founding school of the chiropractic profession, Palmer College of Chiropractic. After graduation, she moved to Sacramento, CA with her husband and opened Centered Chiropractic and found great success helping patients of all types meet their health goals. In 2021 Dr. Shaina moved back to Rochester to be closer to family and to set up practicing her art of healing in her home town.
Dr. Shaina has completed an advanced post-graduate training series in pregnancy and pediatrics with an emphasis on cranial care. She is a member of the International Association for Functional Neurology Research (IAFNR), and is currently completing advanced training of postdoctoral work in Childhood Development Learning Disabilities and Behavioral Disorders. Dr. Shaina focuses on low force adjusting techniques such as Sacral Occipital Technique and Activator Methods in addition to her training in Palmer Package, so she is able to provide gentle and specific care. She is a also a member of Sacro Occipital Research Society International (SORSI).
